A Passion for Baking
My journey to baking began on the South Side of Chicago, where my love for desserts first blossomed. As a child, I cherished Sunday mornings when my family and I would head over to Dressel’s Bakery to buy coffee cake, a long-held family tradition. During the holidays, especially Christmas and Thanksgiving, the celebrations were never complete without a classic pound cake. Both experiences brought me immense joy, inspiring my lifelong passion for baking.
Today, I’m a devoted wife and a software professional by day, but when the sun sets, I transform into a dessert baker dedicated to creating sweet memories for others. Beyond baking, I’m an avid traveler, a committed humanitarian, and a proud dog lover.
